Our Partnership with Constructionline
To achieve high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability, we need to ensure our supply chain share the same principles.
Downing Construction have partnered with Constructionline to help onboard suppliers. We chose Constructionline due to its simplicity and cost effectiveness for our suppliers. Over 50% of our supply chain are already accredited by them giving us a good knowledge of the accreditation status. The verification process aligns to the Common Assessment Standard (CAS) and Building Safety Act endorsed by Build UK. The CAS provides a standardised methodology for pre-qualification of suppliers helping improve efficiency, reducing cost and raising quality standards.
From 1st September 2024, all new suppliers working for Downing Construction will be expected to comply with our Supplier Pre-Qualification Standard. For those suppliers already working with Downing Construction, you will be expected to achieve compliance to your required membership level by 1st December 2024 at the latest. If you are new to Constructionline you will be supported through the verification process.

Once you have registered, you’ll receive an email from Constructionline with your registration number and login details. Use this information to log in to the Constructionline platform and complete your profile and provide the relevant up to date documentation.
Constructionline’s experts will assess your completed profile, let you know if you need to provide any additional information and assist you throughout the verification process.
Once your gold membership is verified you will meet Downing Construction’s prequalification standard and be ready to accept work from them.
