FORM TO GO HERE
Supplier Performance Management (SPM) is a tactical practice focused on measuring suppliers’ performance against quantitative benchmarks and KPIs, whereas Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) encompasses a wider framework aligned with qualitative measures and ongoing relationships.
According to GOV.UK, ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). By obtaining this standard, it demonstrates your organisation’s capability to enhance the quality of your products and services, and align them with customer expectations.
BS 99001 expands on ISO 9001, but is build industry-specific, and also a supporting requirement of the Common Assessment Standard and Building Safety Act.
It’s an enhanced version that supports the built environment sector, as a means of demonstrating high quality management with sector-specific requirements for areas covering competence, design quality, temporary works, inspection and test plans, and documented information.
There are various providers who can help you get an ISO 9001 standard, including the BSI. Search online to find your preferred provider.
